Ed Sibley, Deputy Governor, Prudential Regulation of the Central Bank of Ireland opened the conference launching the BRIDGE network on October 30, 2019.
In this keynote speech, he outlines the work the Central Bank in improving resilience of the financial system when faced with the potential shock of the UK leaving Europe without a deal. Despite recent positive developments, he reminds the audience of a continued uncertainty as to how Brexit will happen.
